NCS has a small staff of Teachers, Assistants, Admin, Finance, Grounds, Maintenance and Cleaners, all living out their Christian faith in their daily work at school.

How can I contact HR?
While we do not have a specific HR department, all enquiries can come into the office to be forwarded onto the principal.
What benefits do you offer?
All our working benefits are outlined in the CMEA (Christian Multiple Enterprise Agreement) which is a negotiated agreement by several Christian School between staff and their school Board. It offers above award pay, leave provisions and Portable Long Service Leave between those schools in the agreement.
Is there room for growth?
We offer a stepped progression scale based on qualifications and experience. Further learning and development of teaching abilities is encouraged so that you may be assessed as a Highly Accomplished teacher. There is room for progression into management or leadership positions as they become available. Our second and third principals began as part time teachers at NCS.
What are the working conditions like?
We offer a secure and open work place committed to Christian values. Prayer and devotions underpin our daily work life. Our working conditions are based on a Multiple Enterprise Agreement with several like minded Christian Schools in Tasmania.
What is the application process?
All applications are assessed by internal committee according to the Job Description and ranked according to qualifications and experience. Those on a short list are invited for an interview by the same committee. References are followed up and the position, with prayer, is then offered to the best candidate.
We value complete transparency in filing all positions and ensure that every opening is advertised openly to the public. Applications are invited to all, even those internally, who are subject to the same processes.
